VHA saddened by doctor tragedy

The Victorian Healthcare Association is greatly saddened by the death of Dr Patrick Pritzwald-Stegmann, who died yesterday after an incident at Box Hill hospital.

Our thoughts are with Dr Pritzwald-Stegmann's family, friends, his colleagues and the health sector who have suffered an unimaginable tragedy.

This is a terrible reminder of the importance of eradicating workplace violence and aggression in our health services.
