Enquiry into end-of-life-care

Posted 17 June 2015

The VHA is seeking member feedback to prepare a submission to the Victorian Legal and Social Issues Legislation Committee inquiry into end-of-life-choices.

The inquiry will focus on the overarching question “Are Victorian laws adequately meeting people’s expectations regarding medical options available at the end of their life?”

The VHA has previously completed work on Advanced Care Planning. Our end-of-life care submission will build on this work and will be coordinated by Poplicy Advisor Weif Yee. VHA members are encouraged to provide feedback before 15 July by emailing Weif
