The annual list of popular baby names released by the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages means more than names for the Victorian health services who helped welcome more than 75,000 new Victorians in 2020.
A big congratulations to the families that welcomed these new members in 2020.
VHA members helped families across Victoria welcome more than 75,000 babies in 2020, with Oliver and Charlotte taking out top spot in the most popular names.
We are proud of our hospitals and health services as they continue to support the new babies and their families both before, during and after their arrival.
More than 500 parents chose Oliver for their little boy and more than 400 decided Charlotte best suited their baby girl. Other popular boy names include Noah, William and Jack. Followed by Amelia, Olivia and Mia for girls.
