‘The aged care revolution’: Jackie Kearney to speak

Jackie Kearney, Assistant Director, Person Directed Care and Worker Wellbeing Unit at the Department of Health and Human Services will speak at the VHA forum: The aged care revolution later this month.

Ms Kearney led the Department’s response to the Parliamentary Inquiry into end of life choices, which resulted in the development of the Medical Treatment Planning and Decisions Act 2016 and the Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2017. Ms Kearney leads the secretariat that will support the Voluntary Assisted Dying Implementation Taskforce.

Ms Kearney will discuss palliative care and end of life planning, protocols in context of aged care, and the implementation taskforce amongst many other topics at the forum on 22 March.
