Roundtable series to support rural and regional hospitals

September 9, 2021

The VHA is calling all rural and regional hospital CEOs to join us for a series of virtual roundtable conversations featuring a lineup of expert guest speakers. The Rural Regional Roundtable (RRR) series will support rural and regional hospital preparedness and resilience through identifying key areas that require advocacy, investment and action.

Your contributions will support hospital readiness and directly inform collective advocacy across regional and rural Victoria. It is envisaged that this evolving series will discuss key preparedness themes, including:

  • workforce
  • health infrastructure
  • sector coordination and communication
  • surge capacity and system resilience.

The RRR is to become a quarterly fixture and will complement the Department’s forums for CEOs and chairs of rural and regional hospitals.
