Board directors sought: help shape a healthcare system that meets the evolving needs of Victorians

November 5, 2021

VHA members, are you interested in influencing the future of the health sector?

The Department of Health, in partnership with Victorian public health boards, is now seeking applicants from a broad cross section of the Victorian community, for part-time health sector board appointments.

These positions provide an exciting opportunity for Victorians from a diverse range of backgrounds with relevant experience and qualifications to contribute to the strategic leadership of public health care delivery to the community. It is preferable that applicants reside in Victoria or, for border community health services, reside within the health service catchment area.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate and provide evidence in support of nominated skills, and have a demonstrated history of achievement through collaboration and partnering.

All roles are paid non-executive director positions across the health sector, including roles in public hospitals across rural and regional Victoria, public health service boards in metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, Ambulance Victoria and HealthShare Victoria.
