VHA seeks views on single Charter of Aged Care Rights

The VHA is preparing a submission to the Commonwealth Department of Health’s consultation process on the draft single Charter of Aged Care Rights, which is a component of the Single Aged Care Quality Framework and will replace the existing four charters relating to aged care recipients’ rights and responsibilities. The VHA is seeking feedback from interested members on the draft charter.

The charter will cover those in Public Sector Residential Aged Care and those receiving in home supports under CHSP. To provide feedback email Noni Sproule, Manager of Policy, at noni.sproule@vha.org.au.
