VHA inks Kronos deal

Posted 08 September 2016

The VHA is delighted to ink a deal with respected healthcare industry solutions company Kronos as VHA Workforce Strategy Partner.

VHA CEO Tom Symondson said the deal would potentially add significant value to members.

“We are very pleased to welcome Kronos. The partnership will deliver valuable insights into the importance of strategic workforce planning and the options members can implement to manage their workforce, which ultimately assists them to deliver quality care and the best patient outcomes.

“We believe the partnership will provide the VHA and its members with improvements in workforce management. Kronos can assist with the challenges of rising demand for quality healthcare in the face of rising costs,” Mr Symondson said.

Kronos serves more than 10,000 healthcare providers from primary care, acute care hospitals and health systems, post-acute care, hospice and home health.

In addition to time and attendance, Kronos provides staff and physician scheduling, workforce analytics, and absence management software solutions, among other applications - offering the market's most comprehensive healthcare workforce management suite.
