VHA Financial Modelling Tool
Posted 25 January 2016
The VHA is delivering a financial modelling tool and workshop package to assist member providers in their transition to an increasingly competitive, market-driven aged and disability service environment.
The package includes a series of two workshops. The first of these workshops, designed for CEOs and Senior Executive Staff, explores the underlying rationale and drivers of reform before focussing on the strategic ‘levers’ that organisations can utilise to respond sustainably.
The second workshop, designed for CFOs and senior financial staff, includes a practical demonstration of the tools using ‘live’ organisational data before considering how this data can be applied to organisational planning and decision-making.
The workshops will be delivered in each regional location between February and April 2016. A regional workshop schedule is available here.
Following the workshops, participants will receive ongoing access to a suite of tools supporting costing and pricing across:
· HACC and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme
· Home Care Packages Programme and
· The National Disability Insurance Scheme
The package is available to member providers for $2,200 per organisation.
Providers can register for the workshops here.
For further information about the tools or workshops, please contact the VHA’s Aged Care Project Officer on 03 9094 7777 or via email sam.ferrier@vha.org.au
