Jimmy Bartel to speak at VHA event

Triple-premiership Cats star and family violence survivor Jimmy Bartel will be special guest at the VHA’s Family Violence forum, the CEO of the VHA Tom Symondson announced today.

The Brownlow medallist who retired from Geelong at the end of last AFL season, has pledged to help put an end to domestic violence, growing a high-profile beard to raise awareness for the cause in 2016.

He will share his experiences at the VHA forum 'Understanding health sector’s life-changing role' on April 4, Mr Symondson said.

When: Tuesday 4 April 
Time: 8:30 for 9:00am start, concluding at 4:00pm
Where: NAB – The Hall, 700 Bourke Street, Docklands VIC 3008
